READ BEFORE REGISTERING YOUR TEAM
By registering a team, you agree to each of the following:
FEES
• The Registration Fee for the 2025 summer season will be $1295 per team.
WFL BENEFITS
• Each WFL team will be scheduled to play in 12 games between the 1st week of June and the end of July. Games will be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In addition, each team will be offered the chance to participate in a single elimination bracket style tournament that will take place across 1 designated week near the end of the season. WFL teams will also be invited to nominate several players to participate in an end of season All Star event. Additionally, all WFL players will be invited to 1 or more fun softball celebration social events.
• Each WFL team will have the option of using team insurance included with their WFL registration. Each team will have to register for this insurance by sending in a form (to be provided after registration) to the insuring body, which will bill the WFL for all insured players on March 1st. The WFL will not pay for any team’s insurance after March 1st. No refunds will be given to teams that miss this deadline.
•Each WFL team will be provided with a field for each game. Teams that provide fields for no cost will be given schedule priority. There will NOT be a balance of “home games” offered to all teams.
•Each WFL team will be provided umpires for all games. Every possible effort will be made to schedule 2 umpires for all games 14U and up. If only 1 umpire is available for any game, that game will still be played. If no umpires have committed to work any game, that double header will be cancelled, and each of the scheduled teams will receive a $100 refund. The WFL is committed to taking all possible actions to avoid this outcome.
•Each WFL team MUST be available for each of the scheduled games AND 1 rain game date in late July/early August. There will be a short window after the schedule is released where teams may request individual games to be rescheduled to avoid conflicts. After that window closes, no reschedule requests will be processed. Any team that forfeits any game for any reason must pay a $100 fee to that week’s opponent. If weather prevents any team from playing 6 double headers, each team will have a game scheduled on the designated rain date.
